Prayer Ministry

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
- Matthew 28:18-20

The Lord names our purpose: we are to make disciples by going out into the world, baptizing and teaching all people. To birth this vision requires the empowerment of the Holy Spirit who speaks and acts through prayer.

Have you experienced and spent time exploring the power of prayer? Trinity's Prayer Ministry is aimed at all persons. We hope you will be helped in your walk with Jesus by the following resources:

  • Teaching Prayer. For your learning and growing, we seek to make resources available for learning about different styles and different methods of prayer to enhance or strengthen our prayer lives. Prayer is one of the many gifts God has given us to grow in Him and Him in us. Daily prayer grows us into becoming a open vessel for God to do His much needed work in the world.
  • Intercession for the community. We seek to stand and offer prayer support and guidance with each other in times of burden or celebration. A Pray Chain is one way we seek to stand together in times of crisis. We also want to share stories of prayers answered for our celebration and thanks to God.
  • Prayer Groups and Prayer Retreats. These are ways of deeping our soul walk and away to grow together in prayer and our spiritual lives. So we offer places and times where we can get away from our hectic, disrupted lives and have a time of needed silence with God.
  • Internet Prayer resource- "The Prayer Room" Visit this place of sharing, upholding experiences, and learning about prayer.
  • "A Place set aside" -The Prayer Room. We hope to develop "The Prayer Room", a quiet spot at Trinity. This will be a place where you can go and be still with God, a place to have group prayer, A place apart from the hectic pace of daily rushing so we can listen and be.
